Binomial name: Cinnamomum Cassia.
Origin: Southeastern of China, Vietnam and Cochin (India).
Combines: Caraway, Patchouli, Orange and Musk.

Cassia, which is often confused with classic cinnamon because of its similar aroma, belongs to the Lauraceae family and comes from China, Southeast Asia and the eastern part of India. It is highly valued and appreciated in its native places due to its aroma which has many features in common with the scent of cloves, commonly used in cosmetics and gastronomy for its high aromatic qualities.
