Binomial name: Meconopsis betonicifolia.
Origin: Himalaya.

Better known as Himalayan Blue Poppy, it is one of the most striking, beautiful and popular flowers among those that can be enjoyed in fine perfumery. The poppy is an herbaceous plant, almost 1 metre tall, with a spectacular blue flower with yellow pistils that give the fragrance its characteristic exotic and floral touch.
