Binomial name: Freesia refracta.
Origin: Cape Provinces (South Africa).
Combines: Néflier, tea leaf and Ylang Ylang.

The freesia belongs to the genus of bulbous plants of the lily family. The freesia flower can have different colours and even some patterns, but the most common is the yellow freesia. This attractive flower became a trend in perfumery in the 20th century and today, it is the protagonist of some of the world's best perfumes.
